Split a PDF and other page jobs

Split a PDF into several files, or save just the pages you pick. Rotate, reorder, crop and resize pages while you’re there.

Open the editorFree. No sign-up. Nothing is uploaded.

How to do it

  1. Open the PDFPress Open and pick the file.
  2. Pick the pagesClick a thumbnail on the left. Shift-click to pick a run of pages, Ctrl-click to pick several.
  3. Split or extractExtract saves the picked pages as a new PDF. Split makes several PDFs, by ranges such as 1-2, 3-5, 6- or a file per page, in one zip.
  4. SaveEach new file gets the original name with the pages it holds.

Good to know

Size changes a page to A4, A3 or A1, scaled to fit or kept full size with white edges.

Crop keeps just the part of the page you drag round.

Questions

Does splitting change the original?

No. The original file is never changed; every split or extract is a new file.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The editor runs in your browser and opens files straight from your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone else to see or keep.
