Mark up PDF drawings

Cloud a change, dimension to scale, add a note with a leader and stamp it. Markups are saved into the PDF as real lines and text, so they print sharp and anyone can open them.

How to do it

  1. Open the drawingPress Open or drop the PDF on the page. Several at once open as one set.
  2. Set the scalePick Scale. The editor reads it off the drawing where it can (for example 1:100 at A1), or you pick it, or measure a known length.
  3. Mark it upPick a tool: cloud, arrow, note, dimension, grid, level, text. Or type a command as in CAD (RC for a cloud, DIM for a dimension) and press Enter.
  4. Save or shareSave writes a new PDF. Share sends it by email, WhatsApp or anything else your phone offers.

Good to know

Snap catches the ends and corners of the drawing’s own lines (F3 turns it on and off). F8 locks lines to 90°.

Markups stay movable: open the saved PDF in the editor again and you can still move, change or delete them, unless you chose to flatten.

Scaling a page from A1 to A3 changes its printed scale. The editor works out the new scale for its dimensions and grid lines.

Questions

Can it read the scale off my drawing?

Often, yes. It looks for a scale such as 1:50 at A1 in the drawing’s text. If it can’t find one you pick it from a list or measure a line of known length.

Will the markups show in other PDF readers?

Yes. They’re saved as ordinary lines, shapes and text in the PDF, so they show and print in any PDF reader.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The editor runs in your browser and opens files straight from your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone else to see or keep.
